- Shell texture holds dust — a dry brush beats a wet cloth here.
- Slide the tortoises in and out of the cave for maximum desk theater.
Where this pal came from
Tortoises outlive most of us, which felt like the right energy for a desk pal. This one is printed in warm shell tones with a hand-finished pass on every scute.
Every pal ships with a printed origin story card so you know exactly who made it, where it was printed, and what it's been up to.

Every Desk Pal is available as an animal-only adoption ($35, or $45 for the magnetic chameleon) or as a complete habitat set. If you adopt the animal first and fall in love (you will), you can add the habitat later — you only pay the difference, not the full set price.
